    Still no sign of flowering stems! It looks very healthy though so that’s nice..

    You say horsetail but it doesnt look like it does here in the uk. Hard to tell from your photo but it looks as if it has flowers which horsetail doesn't. Maybe you call a different plant by this name?

    The horsetail is in the background☺️. My question was about the would be dianthus that won’t flower. But thank you for looking! Horsetail is called Paardenstaart in Dutch, and that means... horsetail!

    Interesting, but those should have flowered by now I think?
