can anyone please identify these both plants. my tenants seem to think its Japanese knotwood.

    If @yaz1 was trying to "hide" anything, why include the suspsect in the first photo, albeit, somewhat blurred? I'm sure that was perfectly innocent.
    I read it as a genuine inquiry, seeking ID and advice. 
    I wish you good luck too @yaz1, and , please don't give up on the forum. Lots of lovely people who are , mostly, only too pleased to offer constructive advice.
