Problem with my David Austin roses

    Yes I'm sorry about that too, maybe it will spring back during July, I think it will. It doesn't appear to be dying, I can see some new shoots coming out on that one and I feel confident you will get blooms in a month or so..  These roses grow well in much colder climates than ours here..

    Patience and feeding LP.  I once had a huge Kiftsgate which covered the front wall of the house in Belgium almost wiped out by a freak -32C one January night in 2009 followed by a couple of weeks of below -20C.  It was left with one stem and that was cut back to 2m from 8m.   It took a couple of years and lots of encouragement but when we moved 18 months ago it was even better and covering more of the wall.  I've brought one of its babies with me along with several DA roses including a Munstead Wood which is flopping at the mo.
