    I love that too, it's excellent for winter birds. I planted mine about 2 years ago and only earlier this year looked at the label properly. I bought horizontalis instead of verticalis which explains a lot - oh well, it's in now.

    @dave125 the 'verticalis' was a somewhat lame joke. It really is horizontalis, but since it had been trained up against a wall I christened it verticalis.

    Nice one. So if I did buy the right one why's it gone all horizontal on my ass despite being serious trained upwards.

    It will need continued training. It will indeed go horizontal on your ass as soon as it gets the chance. I'm training mine up to about 1.5 meter, but then I will let it go .. already the branches are cascading down. It is very nice if you can give it some space, you'll indeed get flowers, berries, shelter, the works.
