Is it too late to plat tomatoes?

I ordered 6 mixed tomato plugs from Thompson and Morgan over 2 months ago and they finally arrived today. They are tiny and I'm wondering if it's too late in the season to bother even for the greenhouse?
I've attached a pic with a £2 coin for scale. Compost heap or worth a punt???

I would not normally have mine out in the greenhouse before the 1st of June, so I say go for it.

Pot them on right up to the bottom of their first true leaves (trim off seed leaves) and give it a go.

I would pot them up. In two weeks you will be amazed at how much they have grown.
How much did you pay for them. ? I would also put a complaint in to T&M, unless the due delivery date was last week in May.

Yes, pot them up into 4" (10cm) pots and grow them on for a fortnight before planting into their final positions and bury them as Blue Onion says.  They'll be fine.

I agree - pot them on as Bob says, and in a few weeks they'll be a decent size and you can put them in their final places/pots.
Don't be too kind to them - some decent free draining compost, water them in, and only water again when they start to look a bit droopy. That helps to get them well rooted because they'll search down and out for moisture to support the top growth.
At this time of year they'll come on leaps and bounds.  :)
    Good luck with them!

They grow well from seed. Perhaps next year you could try a few while you're waiting for the plugs to arrive
    In London. Keen but lazy.

I also had ordered these from T&M. The plants that were delivered are even smaller than yours; just 1 set of true leaves. I have potted them up and fingers crossed, they will grow and bear fruit.
