Bare-faced cheek!

I went out the front the other night to water the pots when I saw a lad in his twenties just break a big branch from my flowering azalea!! Some of my garden at the front is unfenced but is obviously a garden. I have put up with the kids breaking the heads off my tulips, vandalising the Christmas tree, dog owners chucking their poo bags into the garden or letting their dogs poo in what is obviously a newly planted border, but that takes the biscuit! He did hang his head in shame a bit and said he was going to take it to his mum! No excuse!
I am totally p$ssed off!

It's sickening when that happens. No regard for other peoples' property.

The worst for me is when they bag the poo but leave the poo in a bag! What is the point of that? I actually think it worse than leaving the raw dog poo.
I agree totally- it has no chance of breaking down. What is wrong with these morons?
Hogweed - I sympathise completely. I had a dreadful time when I moved in here [having lived happily round the corner for many years] because of the attitude of children and their parents. it seems to have settled down, but I contemplated moving again within months of moving in.
I built a fence right round the boundary, and planted blackthorn - that's helped enormously, but at great time and expense to myself.  I'm onto them right away if I catch any of them up to no good. I hunt them away back to their own properties.
Perhaps you should have accompanied him to his mother's house and informed her - complete with the branch, and given her a mouthful.....
No excuse, as you rightly say.

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

At least he had the decency to look shame faced, no consolation but plenty wouldn't even have the good grace to be ashamed.

At least he didn't pull up the whole plant. A friend of mine is near a school, and she regularly loses the whole plant, shortly after it has been planted. I took her a couple of buddlejas I had grown from cuttings. Sure enough, one disappeared.

@hogweed I bet you must have a lovely front garden and these spiteful people throw poo over out of jealousy. Well that’s what happens to my dads front garden.  :/

Lets bring in a law that says if anyone is caught hanging their dog poo bag in a tree they will be punished by having to have their Christmas tree decorated with dog poo bags. I'm not sure why that's relevant here but it's been bugging the heck out of me recently.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

Surely someone somewhere must have been been proselyting the idea that hanging poo bags is a good idea. Because it happens everywhere and it's a terrible idea.

It's striking how often poo comes up on the forum.
