2oaktrees because we have two large oaks on our shared front drive in front of our house.

When we moved into our new build 9 years ago we decided to get rid of one of the oaks to build a drive which would separate us from our right side neighbour. It was more for convenience rather than aesthetics and would have been easier getting our cars in and out of the drive.

When our left side elderly neighbours heard of our plans she made one call to the council and we were hit with a tree preservation order.

She and her husband have both died since but we can’t decide whether she has left us with a curse or whether we are fortunate to have 2 beautiful large oaks that make our property unique. I have actually grown to like them but OH still wants that’s drive. Keep dreaming I say...

Hogweed just because it was easy to remember and at the time all the flowery names were taken. And it reminds me of my childhood when we roamed far and near and giant hogweeds grew on the banks of the river.

Nothing fanciful about using my given name - the 2 came about 'cos of 'fat thumbs' when I first registered!! OOps! (The avatar is a paper bat sculpture that I & my two grand-daughters made & decorated for Hallowe'en some n years ago now).

Mines Kili because I've been to the top twice ( Kilimanjaro that is). Great experience good to try as its a walking mountain, as long as your fit and healthy and you don't succumb to altitude sickness its doable, well for at least 50% of those that try I believe.
