Lyn is your Avatar on Dartmoor? It looks very similar to an old church in Brittany that we used to visit.

As for the school milk,I still can't stomach warm milk, which at school they stood near the pot bellied stove in winter! Yuk!
It is Cagzo, it’s St Michaels, on Brentor, the view  from our bungalow. We are almost the same height above sea level as that, so look out at its level.
(Agree with you about school milk) 🤢🤮

What a wonderful view! Do you know,I'm almost sure the one in Brittany was St Michaels as well.

Can I claim the prize for the "oldest" find?
80,000,000 years old is pretty mind blowing.

So is the urchin from your natural ground or do you think it was brought in? I find the odd fossil in the Cotswold gravel we use around the veg beds, mostly old shells but there are some lumps that could be bone.

More usefully I find Hag Stones. For those who don't know if you find a stone with a natural hole in it you can hang it from some string as a proven witch deterrent. I've got this one hanging from my greenhouse and so far not one witch has stopped by to put a curse on my tomatoes. Make your own mother-in-law jokes...

If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.

I was always told you could look through the hole and see through an enchantment.. like see fairies moving about the garden.

I found a golf ball buried in one of my containers the other day.
We're about 2 miles from the nearest golf course.
    In London. Keen but lazy.

Many years ago I bought a piece of public land behind my house. While digging it over I found a very rusty key ring with a whole load of keys on it. They must have been there for several years. I can't begin to imagine how the poor person who lost them must have felt!
