Yes Anna, its very like theyve been cut plus as i said they weren't eaten either. One for agatha christie i think.

Fire - there were plenty of other pictures of harvest mice.. but that one got me.. curled up so cozy with a face full of pollen..

Sorry for replying late. No children have access. There is a dyke and a field plus all sides are fenced.
I'm thinking it must have been the wind tbh.
