    I loved her Garden Notebook book and have visited her garden several times. I am sad to hear of her death but as others have said, a good old age to go. I do hope her garden survives.

    Worth booking an overnight stay to do it NB.  We did and also visited the RHS garden at Hyde Hall and managed a visit to Flatford Mill and enjoyed a good long walk around Colchester and some proper coffee and later on a good dinner.  You could then head north a bit and see Bressingham gardens and so on.
    Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

    So sorry to hear this; had a lovely time there a few years ago. Stayed in East Anglia and visited the garden.
