Sounds like a plan Dove ascend we can see if any local forum friends fancy it too 😊
We're away a lot this year - but if I'm around I'd love to join you. 😊

Last time we tried to organise a forum outing to BC's (was that 4 or 5 years autumns ago @Dovefromabove ?) we called it off because of a yellow weather warning. Boy oh boy -  did it rain that day!

Sad loss to the gardening community. Went to one of her talks about 20 years ago when I lived in York - an inspirational lady.
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Gosh yes!  I remember that day @Topbird ... we were all relieved that we'd cancelled our outing.

What a legacy this wonderful gardener has left behind. I have learnt so much from her.

Heard it on the way home too - a pretty good innings, right enough Hosta
Great influence on so many people, and if ever there was someone who could educate about  'right plant, right place' it was her   :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

A great gardener and a sad loss but her influence will live on to inspire and inform other gardeners of all levels.

I dragged OH off to see her garden in May 2016 because I knew we needed to see her dry garden, having just signed the initial contracts for this place.   Photos here but you may want to be sure your adblock is working - http://s211.photobucket.com/user/Obelixx_be/library/160527 Beth Chatto - Essex?sort=2&page=1
