Newt!!

So excited... just seen a newt in my pond!!! Only dug it in November, so I’m so happy!!!! 😃 I know people here will understand... my husband just looks at me blank lol!!

    Lovely pics!  Do they just arrive when you have a pond? Where do they come from?

    They spend a lot of their time in ponds, though will forage on land.

    Mostly in ponds during breeding season..

    Do you have to be near a wild water source for them to arrive at your garden pond?
