    There's a thread about the series here - https://forum.gardenersworld.com/discussion/1011515/new-tv-programme-following-britain-in-bloom#latest

Many of us here belong to the RHS which can be regarded as a huge club.   Lots belong to their local gardening club and some do volunteer work maintaining local parks or memorials and some do guerilla gardening but I'll leave it to them to fess up.

I used to run a gardening group when I lived in Belgium, sharing visits to each other's gardens as well as plant fairs and other well known gardens.   Having recently moved I have joined a Vendée based garden group.

If you do join a local B in B group I wish you well.  Good thing to do.

I belong to a local gardening club (70 + members) which is very good. We run the local Flower Show, Open Village Gardens days and maintain the village planters. Personally I also help look after a memorial garden in a local school.

I wish we had something like that round here, lots of allotments, but not a hanging basket in sight!  I'm going to ask the vicar if I can put some bedding plants in the tub by the church door, which only ever has a few daffs in it!
