Just to show how overpopulated we are, how many folk live within a 1/4 mile radius of your house Lyn?

    Devon.

Indeed so and in some places, mainly cities population density is hideous, but I think the planet is perfectly capable of sustaining the population . We  need to cut down on food waste, as well as all other forms of waste.
Didn't they say in the 60s that the entire population of the planet could stand , shoulder to shoulder on the Isle of Wight?

I also commented on the labels, they were HUGE, I use my plastic ones till they fall to pieces so some years, written on with pencil, I bought wooden ones on e bay, already written on, but the following year, the wording has gone, I did buy wood craft sticks this year, but then of course, are we wasting the trees instead?

It would certainly be snug to fit everybody on the Isle of Wight now.  There would be 18 people per square metre.  That would give each person a space approximately 20 cm x 20 cm.

The average baby uses 4000 disposable nappies until it’s trained, all made from plastic.
