90% of the rubbish in the oceans is from 10 rivers in Asia, I don’t think plastic labels will make too much difference.
We can do our best but until this is sorted out in every other country there’s not much we can do.

If you use it/recycle it rather than dumping it, it doesn't get into the oceans.
Not using what already exists doesn't solve the problem.
Do you remember when we used to worry about non-sustainable wood?

And most of us do Summer, but how can we tell the people of Asia not to put rubbish in their rivers.

Lead by example - lots of Asian projects going on world wide to raise profile - to be fair majority havent got basic needs met so plastic recycling not high on their survival agenda in my opinion as is a scarce source of income for some

Actually a lot of the rubbish they dump in the rivers is our rubbish. If we hadn't have been shipping our poor quality 'recyclables' over to Asia in the first place there would be less of a problem. Always start with Reduce before Recyling.
If you can keep your head, while those around you are losing theirs, you may not have grasped the seriousness of the situation.
