Can I sow annuals in modules?

I've always sown annuals in module trays. Have found it a good way to grow small amounts of lots of different things.

This pic from 2017 shows how i use a 24 cell tray for 6 types of seed. Just make sure you put a label at the end of each row😉.

Once they're ready for pricking out I move them into either a 40 cell tray (one seedling per module) or 3" pots.

  • I do the same Kitty. You still have the Tower of Terror?

Still have the tower Debi, but ashamed to say it's empty this year 😟. Have been very lazy and neglected to start my usual sowing frenzy.
Have only a windowsill of peas in the conservatory, and a few hardy annuals out in the plastic growhouse.

Ha ha 😄. I don't think i still have a pic TTC, but will see if i can find a link to the page it's on.

Here's the link to seedlings 2016 where you can see my take on indoor vertical gardening. An old shelf unit, on top of an offcut of kitchen worktop, in the conservatory.
