  Thanks @BobTheGardener, l know it can be difficult to tell from photos (especially with my skill). Think l will label with a question mark. Thanks again

  A zoom on the leaves proves them to be smooth-edged and pilose (few hairs). Don't think it is a phlox or a helenium.
