Looking for POT inspiration

  • Thanks all for your comments which have given me much to think on.  I certainly dont like the idea of having to small it so will go for something that fits in the top and cascades down the side.

    Geranium and trailing geranium around the sides.
    Geranium are very forgiving and won’t die if you forget to water them for a day or so.
    Or you could put one dahlia tubers in the top which will fill the pot and then leave it to die back and it should be easy to lift out the tuber.

    How about bowles mauve.   Or same with some cerastium or iberis,  both should cascade somewhat.
