I am a very novice gardener so I may be telling you what you already know... but my Autumn planted ones looked similar. I gave them a support each and once they started growing a second set of leaves I pinched them out. They look strong and healthy now!
I suspect they are too shallow. Sweet peas like a deep root run. If you can gently transplant then into deeper pots, they will do better. Deep roottrainers are ideal. Seed trays are too shallow .
Fidget I think you may be right, I haven’t grown from seed for a few years and now I think about it I recall using loo rolls last time. Do you think I could try and transplant them? They were an expensive variety (one of Hosta recommendations lol)

I would repot and bury the stems to just below the first set of leaves.
i start my first lot of sweet peas in October and report at least twice burying the stems as I do. First lot are already in the garden and just about at the first rung of the obelisk. I am hoping for a good display this year.

Just popped out and taken one These were started in October in a unseated greenhouse went in the ground about 10 days ago and just getting tall enough to tie in to the bottom of the obelisk. The obelisk is 1.8 metres and hopefully the sweet peas will cover it

sweet peas dont like root disturbance, and as Fidgetbones says they have a deep root run, better grown in single cells/pots, a funny thing just happened to me! Sowed mine back in November, (late this year) they are ready for planting out, BUT there were several different types that didnt germinate, was just about to use the pots for something else, and blow me, they have started to come up!
