Which one are you?

I read a little bit of some reading material recommended on a thread today and it got me thinking...

Which one are you? 50 votes

My garden is a well balanced, carefully thought out dream and could pose for fancy magazines.

My garden has grass in the middle with bits and pieces of shrub and plant scattered around the edges.

My garden looks as if my whole family jumped out of the car, put whatever they fancied in the trolley then rushed home and planted it.

I have absolutely no idea what happened there but I'll go with this one.

Could you put up some more options? Maybe four more? You seem to have posted the poll three times...

My garden had nothing planted in it except an old conifer, so most of what I have planted has been gratefully received from neighbours.

I tried to put up "Other" but it went bonkers before I got that far and posted itself 3 times!

Mine is a lazy garden (inherited) that now looks like someone is trying to make an effort without making it harder to look after. No grass, no large borders, lots of hedging and four raised beds. It looks... hesitant... A collage of the last five owners, now owned by someone who is desperate for more garden privacy but doesn't want to seem rude. :)

I am slowly concluding that I really want a different type of garden entirely but don't want to be greedy. It's joyful to have one at all. Kind of.
