I do put indoor plants in the bath for a good shower now and then.  Great for getting the dust off and letting them have a good soak and drip.   Good place to leave them when we go on hols too as they make their own little micro-climate and stay healthy.  Big ones go in the shower.

Glad to see I’m not the only one lol! It absolutely is official! What a lovely day I’ve had! Sowed all sorts of seeds (covered windowsills in trays/pots = less dusting), prepped a container for pumpkins, watched my daughter sing in a little show, been to a certain Golden Arches fast food place (🤢 but saved making lunch 😉), watched the tadpoles testing out their tails and I’m going out for a few drinks and a game of pool with friends later. Happy days! 😍

Flinster, you've reminded me of the time I told a workmate how I planned to spend my first day of retirement: the morning in bed, the afternoon in the bath and the evening in front of the telly.  She reminded me that I would be working my last shift on Christmas Eve, and asked in which of those three places I'd like my Christmas dinner!  I'm glad you had such a lovely day.
  • Gardening first, middle and last. Leave gardening and you are submerged in undergrowth within a matter of weeks.

Housework, what is that? Once there is a layer of dust things do not look much different, no matter how long it is left.

It's rained most of the winter here, should have been the time to spring clean the house, but did I? No, well the basic minimum, I just moaned that I couldn't do gardening because it was raining.

Busy-Lizzie that’s exactly what I did! I did paint the stairs and a few walls, but that just added to the dust lol! Josusa I can’t stop thinking about Christmas dinner in the bath lol!

If we're spending most of our time in the garden, how can the house possibly get untidy or dirty?  o:)

Rain, rain, rain! Still, I did go out and do some pond stuff and put in an extra wire for the climbers etc. Eventually I had to come in and felt rather depressed that I would feel forced to do some mountain climbing with my iron, but then I remembered I had a seed order to put in....😚
