Housework...

So that’s it then. The gardening season has started, which means the housework season has ground to a halt lol! The washing is falling out of the utility room, pots are waiting in the dishwasher and I won’t talk about the dust.... inhaler anyone?.... 😊

If you have a large garden, as I have, with trees and stuff to prune and shred through the winter, you can defer housework indefinitely.

Only do housework when I absolutely have to.  As long as the kitchen and bathroom are clean I don't care about anything else.  Washing only gets done when I run out of essentials (embarrassed emoji)

I have OH on tap these days so we spend half a day each week cleaning house and doing washing.  How hard can it be?

Still leaves plenty of time for gardening and other enjoyable activities.

I once saw a sign that said "Rain is God's way of telling you it's time to do the housework."  But what about all the 'indoor' gardening, I say!
