I had a straight square lawn but curved it to basically create greater depth on my boarders which most curved lawn will allow you. Basically, think about the shape you want and invest in some landscaping lawn spray to to create the curves. I found this a lot better than using hose pipe to create the shapes
I agree re. the hosepipe. I use 3 short bamboo canes, a loop of string and a funnel filled with seaweed meal for marking. It's then possible to get perfect curves.

Hi LeadFarmer Just shows you want a curved lawn can bring. The difference between the 2 photos you have posted shows that as it bring your plants more in to the garden where a square lawn seems to restrict that
