Give me snooker any day. Tactical, mathmatical, skilfull. FAB! And FYI the world championships only happen once a year and will be over by next Monday.
Can't stand MD. Can't stand GW. Can't stand CFS. Can't stand Beechgrove...there. I've said it.
I'll be on the naughty step and it's worth every one of my 27 minutes!
    Can I add
    Can't stand television
to your list pp ? :)

Just off the naughty step. I did some potting on while I was there.
To be honest nut I was being a little disingenuous. I don't have a telly either but I do have a good memory!!!

My CFS tickets just arrived .....can’t wait  :D. But I won’t make anyone come with me  ;)

Seriously peeved about the snooker though  :(

I do enjoy the CFS on television, but I never watch a full programme - I find it too drawn out - the gardens are "put on" & rarely practical for most locations - however the combination of plants, the ideas and personally judging the winners is of interest to me. We will be watching Raymond Evison - he is aiming for his 30th Gold award - good luck to him and his team.

Tbh, l would be happy to see Monty's garden on screen tonight, rather than snooker. :'(

@Palaisglide - Hello Frank. Seems a long time since the 'Alphabet' series. I agree with @Purplerain. Gardener's World is a breath of fresh air at the end of a week for me and it is nice to learn new techniques and just enjoy someone else's domain. As @AnniD says, I, too, would rather be watching Monty's garden and just relishing thoughts of what I could do with a garden just a tad bigger than the one I have.

GW is taken off air at the slightest whim, we must rise up and complain rather than letting this happen once too often.

I do prefer using the latin names. There are a lot of plants where the common names are local and if you want to get an exact variety, you really do need the latin names.

(For the record I am no good at keeping anything tidy for long but I do look after my plants.)
I am not one for very tidy formal gardens as you see in the formal municipal gardens but they do work in their place.
