    My spent coffee grounds go in my compoxt bin too. I also heard sprinkling the coffee grounds around tender plants deterrs slugs and snail..

    Did a one person experiment the other day with coffee grounds. Had a small pot of lettuce that was slowly being chomped by the slugs so I sprinkled a liberal amount of used coffee grounds all around the surface of the soil. When I came back after the weekend, every single lettuce was gone. :neutral:
    I’ve no idea what I’m doing.
