    I don't know how to reduce photos. Had some advice before on the forum but couldn't do it.

    Yes, but I am a total thicko and I don't know how to change the size of photos!!! I mean, I can understand 8" x 6" but not blinking mega somethings! I'll just creep back to the dark ages where I feel at home with the technology.

    re reduced size of pics. On a laptop I use a programme called 'Paint' that is free. Alt click and open in paint and resize is one of the options. I don't know about more modern style of device

    I see all the pictures instantly but then I have super fast broadband via virgin. Not cheap but I have 2 son gamers and so it is worth it.
    i take most of my garden pictures on my iPad so does this load well for you all

    Just taken on iPad basic settings and not altered in anyway

    How's this?

    Techie stuff: 1920x1440, 487kB, 75% jpeg compression (original was 3072x2304 and was 3.69MB ie 7x larger.)

    Just looked at your info, Bob. That's a huge difference. No wonder we're having trouble using our steam-driven technology!!
