I love the Sandy and Noel stuff, as much as I loved the Mel and Sue stuff. As the least competitive person on the planet, I like the entertainment factor more than the competitive aspect.

That’s exactly how I feel about it ... I am interested in the baking too ... as long as the task isn’t too outlandish.

Missed the first Dublin Murders prog and couldn't get into the 2nd and 3rd so gave up.
We've watched 2 or 3 of the World on Fire and it's OK but not gripping.
Mel and Sue were funny. Sandy and Noel are fine in the programme but need a new scroptwriter for their intro stuff. I do like the way the contestants help each other.

@Obelixx. Can you get Dublin murders on iplayer, not sure available in France? I read the book a few years ago, I found the book far easier to read than the programme was to watch.

Yes can get everything on iplayer. But you have to pay the tv licence to have it. But you can get round it,have to Google it to find out, but it's something to do with streaming tv programmes from other countries.
They adapt books to be made into a tv series so it will be different from the book.
The book was much easier to understand, too much going on in the tv programme.
Last night we had a good film, The Reader, not often a fairly modern films h9kd our attention but this one did, Kate Winslet won an award I think. Free on you tube.

I can watch or record UK TV on Sky or the Freeview box but I can't get i-Player and don't do illegal streaming (have Netflix and rarely use it) but I may see if I can get the book on my Kindle @Lyn.
