I’ve seen my photographs posted on this website being used by google too

Beautiful photos, stunning garden. Pretty much any image you upload  online (eg on this website) is available to view immediately on platforms like Google images and can be saved for personal use. By uploading any image you are essentially making it public property. Odd and frustrating but true.
it's not quite as simple as that.

Well, where do I start? I guess at the beginning. (I don't like how this forum positions  photos in a post, so Ive had to space them out using lots of full stops!!)

I moved into this house 10yrs ago and the selling feature for me was the garden size. But it was a very bland and boring garden....

So within days of moving in, and before starting any decorating inside the house, I set about changing the shape of the lawn and creating some more border space... 007

I wanted a cottage type garden so started planting around this theme. I dismantled the shed and moved it further down the garden so I could put a greenhouse in its place, and erected an archway and gate to separate the upper and lower halves of the rear garden ............................................................................................................................ The lower half with greenhouse and shed. I turned part of this area into a veg plot (if you look carefully you will even see copper piping on the raised bed timbers to keep slugs off, I tell visitors its an outdoor central heating system :) )..

As you can see, i like to cram lots of plants together.. IMG_2607 ............................................................................................................................ As the garden progressed we had bi-folding doors installed to maximise the view out from the lounge, they are great when fully open on a hot summers day.. It's lovely, LeadFarmer, you have made me keen to get out in my garden (when the weather improves!) and alter things!
Did you make those obelisks yourself ? I could do with a couple to add height to my flower beds.

At the front of the house we dug up the small lawn and extended the driveway for parking, but had a small quadrant area created for planting, which I themed similar to the rear garden..

Yes, I made them myself. I copied a design in Geof Hamiltons Cottage Garden book and made them out of timber batons.
