What would you do if you came home to find that your garden had been made over by Groundforce?

If someone allowed that bunch of amateurs into my garden , I'd probably go ballistic and reach for my trusted machete !

Just a thought.  Would it be the BBC  you could sue? They would have had to have permission from someone to do it .

I’d strangle my OH who, presumably, let them loose in my garden in the first place😝
Heaven is ... sitting in the garden with a G&T and a cat while watching the sun go down

Well, my extensive research proves conclusively that 9 out of 10 gardeners who expressed a preference would very much like to sue the BBC and spend the money on garden improvements.
A significant number would, in addition, do damage to their partner commensurate with the damage done to their garden.

I'd batter the permission givers to death!

Assuming it was OH who called them in I'd also assume he knows me well enough by now to understand the danger to life and limb of not consulting me first and knowing exactly what I wanted and then restricting them to doing one project well.

Definitely.  No slabs or pergolas, just all the plants I can't afford or access in the right places. And all the digging done. They might even put in proper drains. I could have that big wildlife pond I always wanted.... The possibilities are endless!

Sell all the decking to my neighbours to use as firewood. And as for the obligatory water feature.....

I'd quite like a water feature that I could hear but not see but I'm afraid that wouldn't make good television.

I wouldn't mind if they sorted one corner of my garden and build a lovely greenhouse there, but the rest of the garden must be untouched!
