I would demand....in very strong words that they put it back EXACTLY as it was before. It may be far from perfect, but it is all my own hard work, ( with OH helping with the heavy stuff. )

My other half asked me that once. He knows not to let anyone touch anything in my garden without express permission. One persons mess is another persons private paradise.

Oooh, I don't know. It might look fantastic! I wouldn't have to worry about everyone being better than me and knowing where to plant things and what would go with what instead of my method, which I believe is characterised as the 'dog's dinner' approach.

I’d rather my ‘explosion in a paint factory’ look than decking, slabs and chippings.
I like the ‘dogs dinner’ approach to gardening, and what’s more I don’t burst into tears and wave my hands in front of my face after I’ve planted it up in the Spring.

  • OMG! I would hate it!  They stuff the gardens with everything, mirrors, slabs, pergolas, fancy sheds, water features etc etc all far too ott.😕

Muddle-Up has given the answer I would give. Hopefully I would win a decent sum to get it better than it was before.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
