@LG the L, I first encountered Pokeweed (aka Phytolacca, I remember from our plant IDs) in the walled herbaceous garden at horticultural college in Northumberland - so it must be fairly hardy.  It's poisonous though, leaves & roots as well as the gorgeous shiny berries, so take care!
Thanks Liri. Sorry, I've been trying to remember where you'd said this and it was buried too deep in my notifications to find it. And thanks for the Latin name too ;). I shall look it up. Not sure I've room for it, but it's going on the list.
That was an excellent garden. Not all was to my taste (eg: the ruin) but what a triumph anyway.

LG, sorry, we overlapped. I was thinking a nice simple Doric Temple ( a la Diana ) there will be precious few mourners, have no fear ;) .
Very tasteful, Hosta ;). I suspect you may be wrong about the mourners.
Pls excuse delayed response. Got in a muddle about where I'd read things!

I really enjoyed the show. The Wolverhampton garden was brilliant. Adam did a great job with the small garden.
Long Meadow looking so atmospheric! You could see the strength of the cold! Looking forwards to Monty working on reducing the use of plastic.
More episodes like this, and they'll be lots of happy viewers!

It was a nice episode, I like the atmosphere at Longmeadow including the dogs.

Im a new gardener so all I want is to be told what to do.

Im less keen on seeing the bizarre or urban stuff.

The so-called bizarre and urban stuff will return once the one hour slots returns.

I don't have dogs either and I don't understand the angst with canines. :s
How about some alpacas instead? B)
