Not sure if, Pansy uses a Tablet, Laptop or a Pc...but if it's the latter two the screen can be zoomed in to make it much bigger and easier to see.
Click the three little dots top right of screen and using the zoom button press the + to increase the size to 300% and that will make the print much bigger.
There are normally more hedge sparrows than anything else, and multiple blue tits and great tits, but not in my hour. Saw plenty of blackbirds and a crow a bit later too. Was happy to see the wren, fleetingly.
PS I had a migraine and had to spend quite a lot of time with my eyes closed, which is not great for the birdWATCH, but didn't want to abandon it. There wasnt much going on so I doubt I missed too much.

'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need.'
Joe the Gardener - I noted you had a Song Thrush visit you which you mentioned in the "Robin" thread dated 2 Jan. In all the information received from the RSPB Birdwatch there was no mention of the Thrush and reading the posts on this thread no one appears to have reported having seen one. I know they are in great decline both the Mistle and Song Thrush so you must be very lucky to have one visit you. Did you complete the Birdwatch Count and manage to see a thrush as I think it would be of great interest? Did anyone else see one?
Also among the information received there was a recipe for Bird cake. I followed the instructions and was quite pleased with result but must have done something wrong as it hung from the tree for about one minute and the string slipped through the "cake" and it ended up on the ground where it remained for the ground feeders. Anyone else have a go with success?
Cottage Compost - What a shame they didn't appear during the hour. Maybe that's what's happened with most people. I have never seen one. Maybe they are mostly in a particular area of the UK. Thanks for your response.
Neither of the thrushes were in the list of birds to count. When I tried to add one a red box came up saying something like 'these are not birds supported by our gardens and greenspaces' We have both thrushes here and a Mistle Thrush was there on the day. I added them to the comments box. Same with the Siskins. This could be down to my incompetence but I don't have problems anywhere else
I always have trouble with the count, RSPB didn't recognise me when I signed in so I had to sign up again
Mistle Thrush x 2, Greenfinch x 6, Great Tit x 5, Goldfinch x 8, Reed Bunting x 4, Robin x 2, Chaffinch x 6, Blue Tit x 5, Blackbird x 8, Siskin x 4, Long-tailed Tit x 7, Wood Pigeon x 12, Wren x 2, Siskin x 4
You had a wonderful selection during your hour nutcutlet. Seems strange they aren't interested in the Thrush. If they are in decline you'd think they would want to know their whereabouts. Feel sure you wouldn't be doing anything wrong. Mine is going off in the post to avoid any problems online.
That is an impressive list Nutcutlet and I am quite envious of your count and many others on this thread. Do you all feed your birds with processed bird food? I do, but I often wonder if I am doing the right thing.
We have pyracantha berries that haven't been touched by the birds - is it because they are addicted to the shop bought bird food? What is added to the food to make it so irresistible to the birds? Why is there such a decline in bird numbers whilst we are going out of our way to give them all these delectable foods? My parents only gave the birds bread and other scraps and yet the numbers were far higher then than they are now., and Dad liked forking out the odd worm for the robin.
