I can't answer your question Mark - re Rach's Aquilegia only to say I have the same flower - spring magic - one group are white the other appears to be identical to her picture. It is gorgeous isn't it? First year of flowering, so I hope it returns in the same form next year. There are some stunning pictures on here, it is almost better than going to an open garden!
My Aquilegia was here when I moved in so not sure on variety but @Yviestevie, on the jam jar posies thread I post on, thought it might be Aquilegia flebellata Little Star?
Lovely Montana display! I have two new climbers this year - a Honeysuckle and a climbing Hydrangea, so I hope they do well. My Miss Bateman is blooming nicely:
Hi, yes RB, Ena Harkness. She has no scent last year - just lost it, I have no idea why - but as the roses opened today I took a deep inhale and the glorious scent is back. I might plant another. I do love montana. Yours is looking very shiny and fine. I didn't know they had such distinctively different scents. The one I planted last year smells nothing like I expected (not like the one I grew up with) but still gorg on the evening air.
@Allotment Boy your acers are gorgeous and I love the snowball viburnum.
This azalea is pot bound and completely neglected - I thought it was dead at the end of last year. We've just got back from holiday and I was surprised to see this! Excuse the weeds growing amongst it.
Morning all 🤗, just been looking back at all your gorgeous pictures, we are a bit behind in the northwest as my Rhodedenron has only just started to flower, when they open up I will send a picture, lovely sunshine here 😀
Here is a photo of my rhododendron bush (cheapo digi cam so apologies for that!) What you can't see is that its trunk is far from where it is flowering and its branches span across one side of my garden, under the loquat tree. (Bottom far left is a bit of my lawn meadow, i.e. that's how low the flowers are - particularly good blossoming this year).
A 'weed' is just a plant in the wrong place - subjective!

How I love this time of year everything is starting to grow and show off.

my irises seem a lot happier this year to, they are in bud the promise of things to come.
