Beautiful garden, Picidae. My astilbe is starting to flower as well, but I think I’ve planted it in the wrong position, i.e. too much shade.

Josusa, hot colours for hot weather. My crocosmia is very small and unlikely to flower this year.

Some photos from this evening, including a fuchsia that sparkles and glows in the evening light.

@pitter-patter, do you know the name of the fuchsia?  I like the upward facing flowers.

I doff my cap to anyone who can grow cornflowers like that. I've given up.

Aw, Fire. You were probably giving them too much attention. I can’t take any credit apart from putting the seeds in the soil and deadheading now and then.

Part of the border I have recently replanted, starting to fill in now. Penstemon Garnet - sedum Jose aubriene - penstenum rubra behind penstemon - pervoskia somewhere and various other plants. I did plant some allium summer drummer around there no sign of flowers yet. Last year its was just a giant clump of rudbeckia goldstrum which I move just to the left of this picture.
