    Hehe @Dovefromabove

Thats interesting re some cats being ‘chatty’ - my Charlie is very vocal but George is not (unless he is in the carrier going to the vets 😿).
I’d love to know the heritage of my boys, although I do know that the Grandmum was an American Bobtail and Mum was a pale tabby, both barn cats on a farm. Dad must have been black and white I suppose as all the litter were either black&white or black.

Oh my goodness - you used to be able to hear my (normally timid, quiet and chirrupy, but never meowing) little tabby Mia, from 4 streets away, once she was in That carrier and en route to the vet. The noise!

One of ours is very chatty and likes to announce when she's come in/has caught a mouse/needs some milk or food or cuddles/joins us in the garden/welcomes us home and anything else that crosses her mind.  T'other communicates by butting us when he wants a cuddle, walking round or under our feet when he needs feeding and loud purring.   If we ignore him, he pats us with a paw which is fine except that he can't retract his claws all the way so that can be painful.

@Dovefromabove you've no idea how much that has cheered me up! I have to go for an MRI scan tomorrow.  Had a good laugh thinking how my cats could operate the machine 😅😅😅😅😅

An oldie but goodie and always worth bringing up again @Jules41. I hope that all goes well with your scan tomorrow.

If we’re doing cat jokes ...

It’s the swimming final in the cat olympics. Only two teams, UK represented by a cat called One Two Three and France whose cat is called Un Deux Trois.

    Who won?

The UK because Un Deux Trois quatre cinq.
