    I agree ... Russian vine Fallopia baldschuanica  .... in the same family as Japanese Knotweed but although it's 'quite a spreader' it's not in the same league as it's cousin and doesn't have the same implications for property values etc.  



    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    Yes, that's definitely Russian vine.  It's related to japanese knotweed but isn't a problem from the point of view of its roots - though it does grow very fast, covering everything in its path...
    @Derek120 - could your mystery weeds be bits of Russian vine which someone's tried to kill in the past?  People often plant it to cover a fence, then think better of it once it makes its bid for world domination.   :)

    Veins on Houttuynia cordata are very different. from the leaves shown.

    They can be ruled out.

    Danielsk300 pic.....agree with all others white flowered vine belong to  Fallopia baldschuanica...Russian vine.
