Been doing a lot of googling today as well, think I'll go with Viburnum tinus 'Gwenllian' at the back. Pretty big examples here but I'll see what the local garden centres have too-

Japanese Anemones as suggested before and my foxgloves can go in there too. Was forgetting that having a fuchsia would leave it bare in the winter so I'll need to find a spot (or pot) for one of them.
  • That corner is crying out for brunnera jack frost (think i’v become obsessed with brunneras lol)

That will look really good, once they've all grown a bit. Well done.

It will be lovely. ....I'd put trellis on the wall and grow a climber

Thanks. I'll see how it gets on, could always add a climber at some point.

Looks good Harry but not sure it will fill out to full this year and would add maybe three more plants 😊 yes I am a plantaholic though 😉 maybe to give some instant height you could put in a bird bath 😊

... or put in some easy low level ground cover / colourful annuals - plants or seeds

Annuals did also cross my mind although it is at the far end of the garden anyway.
