My dad built all this retaining wall for us when he was 89, it's 5' high at the top end and they are concrete blocks.  Please excuse rubbish plants, they've finished and need dumping, just waiting on some seed pods to dry.

You could get a flashy wide wheeled one PP?

Ours has inner tubes, never gets stuck.

Want a giggle? You may be aware of my working with the Royal Voluntary Service: a charity that enriches the lives of older people and their families.

Many of our services are age specific.

So when are you old enough to need your old age enriching? Well around here it's the day you celebrate your fiftieth birthday.

I'm not sure if I class as " elderly".

At what age do you think " elderly" applies?

In my experience, most people think elderly means ten years older than they are.

Where do you find such husbands?  I asked mine to help me move a large paving slab.  He tried, said it was too heavy and went indoors.  So I moved it myself.

Quite a lot of our staff and most of our volunteers qualify for the service they offer!
