Which Yellow Rose
I've wanted a yellow / golden rose for quite a while now, I am a bit of a sucker for D Austin shrub roses. I am looking a Teasing Georgia and Graham Thomas at the moment. Anyone grow either of these or recommend another rose? I am looking for a more upright growth, Ideally very good disease resistant just incase because I am replacing a old rose, I be replacing the soil and be using microfungi

My daughter had GrahamThomas, which grew very well. I have a climbing Teasing Georgia and she's taking a bit time to get going. I also have another climber, The Pilgrim, which is lovely, never ill, strong and healthy.
Pilgrim is a beauty I regret not getting it for the pergola a couple of years ago. I went for Generous Gardener instead, it a lovely rose but it taking a while to climbing up the post.

Graham Thomas is a good repeat flowerer and has just produced another lot of bloom.
I am having trouble with my "Pilgrim" it has not done very well and it is supposed to be ok in part shade.
'You must have some bread with it me duck!'
Rosa xanthina 'Canary Bird' is my favourite yellow rose, early flowering, ferny foliage and completely disease resistant.
I have DA Golden Celebration and Charlotte both very different shades of yellow but extremely beautiful and smell gorgeous.
Golden Celebration, the buds ar very attractive too

My experience is the opposite of Busy's. In my last garden I had a Teasing Georgia which, once I protected it from northerly winds, grew very strong and flowered prolifically. It was planted on teh east side of the house facing full south on a trellis so, until the windbreak shrub behind it grew it was a bit exposed. I have brought a cutting to this garden.
All the coddling and patience in the world hasn't helped Graham Thomas who, despite 3 years in a pot for TLC after being rescued from the border, remains a feeble patient.
I also grew Malvern Hills, a repeat rambler and have bought a new one for this new garden.
Molyneux is a lovely clear yellow but died one winter after 3 weeks of -20C. Bit of a softy.
Golden Beauty is a good one lovely colour, good repeater and disease resistant.
Thanks your comments have been very helpful.
I've took to a real shine to golden celebration
it lovely Brightstar.
It is Perki, and it has been in flower for months and is still going strong. I love the rosebuds with the red in them it makes an eye catching display, this is its first year of planting so I'm hoping that each year it will be more stunning.
I was looking for a gold colour more than a lemon yellow. The buds with the red ting do look very good. Its say on DA website its high scented, how strong is it Bright star?
I got a small border at the front, I want it to be the centre piece
going to get some Nepeta six hills gaint from B&M when I can. Got lots of alliums in that border as well with a delphinium in one corner and a blue hydrangea in the other corner, with other bits on bobs here and there.
