    Job done B3. Yes I do have gaura and tried them the last time we were discussing this topic but they didn't take but have taken more cuttings so fingers crossed this time.

    It might have something to do with where you cut the cutting. It seems to me that they often root from where you have removed the leaves so that they're not under water

    I cut the stem just below a leaf joint and took all the leaves off except the top three pairs, see below.

    Any tips for rooting hardy geranium? I have one Ann Folkard and would quite like ten Ann Folkards.

    I think it's normally done by division

    G Psilostemon, which I have, spreads by seed too, though not in huge numbers, but as a man-made cultivar Ann Folkard might not. Geraniums generally take well to being divided and make good sized plants quite fast :)
