I have a variegated pitosporum which I keep pruned flat to the fence . It is very fast growing. Don't know what it's called but I'll take a pic if you're interested.
I've seen a pittosporum grown against a wall and topiarised in layers like a wedding cake, but without the support of the wall it wouldn't support it's own weight.

How tall can that get B3?
That's what I was thinking ... you could even grow it like a sort of spear-shaped standard with a 'bare leg'

Don't know. My fence is 7ft and I trim it off if it gets higher.
Here's some pics.
The first one is an untrimmed bit shooting through honeysuckle. I'm pretty sure I pruned it a couple of months ago but I might have missed that bit!
Anyone know what the white insect in the second pic is?
It's a Tic-Tac beetle.

B3 - variegated pitttosporum 'Silver Queen' or euonymus 'Silver Queen' ?
Looks more like the latter to me but I stand to be corrected.
I haven't a clue Joyce. It was here when I arrived over twenty years ago!
Thanks for ID pp. Tried to Google can only get games. Has it another name?
