That is fantastic, chilliman...growing Watermelon was one of the main reasons I bought my greenhouse, after seeing this I can't wait for next year to come, though I'll have plenty of time to stock up on tights
Oh wow that's lovely! I had some melons in the greenhouse this year, three plants and i have one melon comming, it's full grown just needs to ripen, there was another but it got caught between the glass and the support, I only noticed it yesterday and it had gotten too big to get out, so I just pulled off the stalk and will have to wait for it to rot.
I really like the vertical growing, maybe they like that, as the only plant of mine to produce fruit decided to climb up the grape vine!
Thanks. I had a cantaloupe too and had 3 large fruits from 1 plant. Was a good year for melons. I love sharing information, experiences and methods with other gardeners. Makes us all better gardeners

I'm in Angus, I have only male flowers, so I guess it's too late now this year, what variety have you grown?

Well done, I have two very small melons, I'll keep an eye on them, I might get lucky

Fantastic! Love it! Did you buy seeds or did you take them from fruit eaten last year?
