So glad you all had a lovely day and the weather was kind. Wish I could have joined you. I thought that you were all 27, except Chicky who I know is younger, but you are all much younger than that. Thank you for the photos. The gardens look great too.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Love your horizontals, LG.  image  (And the rest!)

Great to see everyone else's photos.  Thank you!

Note to BL:  at least one of us is over 27  image

Looking forward to an increased size of "gang" for the next trip...  image

Loving all the photos, you are all so talented with your cameras!  LG I can't stop looking through your horizontals of the Herbaceous border that you took - they are incredible!

I have to echo Chicky's comment of 'still smiling thinking about our lovely day'.  And Yvie thanks for sharing some of your gardening wisdom with me, so kind of you XX and we certainly all enjoyed your entertaining stories while we had tea and cake just before home time. image

Can't wait to do it all again soon.....and meet the rest of you XX

I've been working most of today which I didn't mind as the weather was rotten.  Although thanks to the rain I'm looking forward to a little weeding on easy soil tomorrow. image

Thank you all for sharing your day out and cake.

Due to logistics it's unlikely that I'll ever meet any of you unless you all come over to do Florencecourt and the Beautiful Fermanagh Lakelands (hint hint).

I must say though...you don't look like the people in my head. image I'll never think of you the same way again. image

Don't worry, PP - in my head I don't look like the picture of me, either...  Younger, taller, slimmer, and much less grey.  image

Very curious to know what people thought we would look like / how old we'd be!

I stand by what I previously said about not being able to guess anyone's age even having met them though. Yes, there was talk of grandchildren etc., but technically I could have perfectly legal grandchildren - I just had my kids on the late side, so that's not a definitive measure. Shall we stick with 27?

Had a chance to look through everyone's photos properly now - I just threw mine on in a hurry yesterday in case the photo uploading broke again. They're all so good! BM you definitely have an eye. Liri I love your Hive pics especially. And that waterlily house was very photogenic too wasn't it?

Funny to think we only really saw a corner of Kew Gardens. A follow up visit might be necessary... back on that bus Liri...!
