Lovely photos BM  (you have a good eye for framing a photo image).  And I was obviously right ... the planting of the Broad Walk Border is fantastic and definitely worth seeing ... loved the stand of kniphofias and the Echinacea pallida ... (I've got some seed ... must get around to sowing it).

It's a shame we couldn't be there, but borrowing the eyes of other gardeners is the next best thing.image

I do hope someone took some photos of the cakes image

Very important role Liri .... an army marches on its stomach and all that  ... Forkers are no exception image

True, Dove, but my stomach doesn't really need any more cake... actually, I think Chicky's cake photo is likely to be better than mine, in which LG appears to be concealing hers...

And some more.  My phone started playing up part way through the day and I didn't get many photos later on.

A selection of pretty things.  The alliums were spectacular - the dead heads of A.christophii, supported by plants around them, were gorgeous.

It was fascinating standing on the glass floor, seeing both the metal construction through it, and the reflections from above.

Beaus Mum and LG the L "listening through their teeth" to hear what was going on in the real beehives.
