Thanks NB...yes, a nasty little Stage 3C was a problem for a while but doing a lot better now, finally have the energy to give the greenhouse another go and really looking forward to it.
Have to agree re a dwarf wall greenhouse, I too would love one of those.
Sorry to hear you’ve been unwell @Sheps glad you’re starting to get your energy back! I’ll be following with interest as that’s the make of greenhouse I’m hoping to get
Thanks for resurrecting this thread @Sheps and glad to hear you're on the mend. As someone who is on the lookout for a greenhouse this year, I've enjoyed looking back over the progress you've made. Great inspiration!

I am fairly new to this forum, but am watching this thread with interest. Pleased for you to have the energy to devote to the greenhouse/plants. I'm sure it will be quite a solace. I am growing tomatoes in Quadgrows for the first time this year, so please do post more pics. What kind of tomatoes are you growing?
The first toms have started to set, tiny pea sized ones on the Alicante so far, hopefully more to come.
Also, I have 6 new pains in the backside in the form of 6 Collared Doves that think my garden is theirs and as far as they are concerned the greenhouse is a lovely place to hang out.
Looks like I'm going to have to make a screen door as I leave the door open whilst I'm at work.
I’m so sorry you have been ill. I’m delighted that you are back. I missed your photography.
Can you say things about how your quad grows are for you? I haven’t used them. Are they the optimum size for toms? Are bigger pots even better and Quadgrows good for optimum use of floor space? Thanks
Thanks Fire....that is very kind of you to say, it's been a long recovery but feeling much better now.
As for the Quadgrows, I think they are very good, they take up minimal space and the 11L pots seem to work perfectly well.
The system comes with Nutrigrow feed and you just make up a batch and fill the 30L reservoir, feeder mats ( capillary matting ) wick water from the reservoir into the pots which gives a perfect watering.
It's all very easy, that's why I like the system so much.

Hi Penny...the toms are, Ailsa Craig, Sungold, Beefsteak F1, Alicante and Sweet Million 100.
Is this common for a cordon or just unlucky?
There is a side shoot that I can try and promote ( red spot ) to try and get it back on track.
