Please help! I have 2 x different types of roses and I'm killing them not so softly. Don't know where I'm going ring have used green fly spray as directed when I saw some on the leaves. Water little and often(ish) and have used rose feeder pellet things as directed but to no avail. Pictures for the 2 x types attached... thanks,

It could be the watering. Little and often is not what they need, the water will never get down to the roots. They need a really good soak every few days. Roses in pots get thirsty. They will need more feeding than plants planted in the ground as the watering will wash the fertiliser out eventually. If the compost has got dry it can be hard to rehydrate it as the water just runs through the dry compost. Push your hand right in and see if it feels damp.

Is that spindly one really a rose?

? no. There is a stable door between them. I don't know what I've done but I'm very sad about it.

If that plant is any David Austin rose it's in a very bad way. Can you get a close up of a few leaves and stems?

Ok so that label is for the pink one, which looks a little sad but surely can be made better with some tlc?! At least that's what I'm hoping! The other 2 are the same variety, which I'm unsure of but it's defo a rose. They are in the same size pots and either side of a stable door. Watered exactly the same but the one on the left (more leaves) is a little more sheltered from the elements. I've taken a close up... image     that is the really scraggy one which in the right of the door....and this is the better looking one on the left....image
