Chicken manure pellets

I'm planting up some geraniums, fuschia and petunia into a large tub.

I've got some basic peat-free multi-purpose compost, can I add some chicken manure pellets to it? If so, should I mix into the top third of the pot or just around the surface.

Thanks you for reading

I wouldn't use chicken manure pellets for any of those. Plant them up then feed them with Tomorite or similar to promote growth to the flowers.  I take it you mean  Pelagoniums?

I agree with Lyn ... use chicken pellets for leafy growth especially in the veg patch.  Tomato fertiliser will encourage flowering. image
