How much to chop off?

I have a Geranium Pyrenaicum Isparta which has gone absolutely mad in its second year in my garden, with thousands of lavender coloured flowers. But it is now all but over.  Will it flower again this year if I cut it back right down to soil level, and does that include flower stalks and leaves?

Any advice?

I'd cut the whole lot back to just above soil level as you say, then let it regrow. Not sure if it will reflower but you'll get a tidy regrowth of the foliage.
