Sweet Corn

Hi,

I have grown sweetcorn for many years now. I always start the seeds off in my cold greenhouse, and plant the plants out in late May/ Early June.

The plants (Lark - about 150 of them) went out on 4th June, duly watered in.

However... then it rained, rained, and rained again.

A lot of the plants have suffered damage. I'm devastated...

Q1. Will they recover?

Q2 Is it too late to resow seeds between the damaged plants?

Thanks image

(I would post photos, but can't see any option to do this...)

There's a camera icon above right of the text box. Click on it and follow instructions. If pic doesn't upload reducing it's size usually works.

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
