please help me to identify this plant

This plant appeared in the garden recently (june) and we cannot identify it.  Does anyone know what it is?

    looks like Figwort but always more definite ID if you see some leaves and the whole plant as well as flowers

    Commonly grows near streams and pond-margins ; flowers are much beloved by wasps(!)
